Canadian School Boards Association's Constitution and Bylaws
The Canadian School Boards Association's Constitution and Bylaws set out the governance framework that guides our organization — from membership and the Board of Directors to standing committees, meetings, and fiscal matters. As the national voice of democratically elected school boards, the CSBA is committed to transparent, accountable governance in service of public education across Canada.
The current Constitution and Bylaws were approved by the Board of Directors on February 3, 2025 and ratified at the Annual General Meeting on October 8, 2025 in Ottawa, Ontario, rescinding all previous versions. You can read the full document below.
