International Literacy Day 2011


International Literacy Day 2011Its International Literacy Day-established by UNESCO in 1965, this day calls attention to the need to eradicate illiteracy across the globe. The theme of International Literacy Day 2011 is “Literacy for Peace.”

Canada is celebrating with many events taking place in the provinces and territories. To celebrate this important day, we would like to share valuable Canadian literacy links:
