New Series: Best Practices in Public Education Across Canada

The CSBA will be featuring a new series on our website, in line with our priority of sharing best practices in public education across Canada. Our new feature series is called Best Practices in Public Education Across Canada.

Look for the “Best Practice” icon to read about successful practices in many different areas of education; curriculum, educational leadership, effective school board governance, aboriginal education, services and programs for students with special needs, physical and mental health, and minority language education to name just a few.

These posts will focus on successes from school boards/districts in every province, in many different school settings. Some are grassroots initiatives that started with one school; others developed from collaborative actions with community and non-profit organizations, industry and Ministries of Education. All share the common goal of providing new and diverse opportunities to Canadian students. In the spirit of information-sharing please feel free to send feedback, comments or information on a best practice from your school board/district. Stay tuned!
