To fulfill our role of providing information and resources for excellence in school board governance, the Canadian School Board Association provides

• A community forum to support and connect trustees and commissioners across Canada
• Board learning tools and professional development through our provincial member associations
• CSBA annual Congress, a unique professional development opportunity offered to trustees, commissioners and school board administrators across Canada
• A commitment to information-sharing of research-based practices on effective school board governance for our member provincial associations and our community
• Advocacy and action at the federal level to maintain and promote the value of locally elected school boards
